Torpedo Factory Art Center’s annual Holiday Open House

Northern Virginia kicks off the holiday season with the Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend & Parade that takes place on December 2 to 3 through Old Town Alexandria. Drawing nearly 30,000 families from across the region, the Parade ranks as one of the Top 20 Events in the South by the Southeast Tourism Society. Partake in the cultural extravaganza that takes place rain or shine. Join more than 100 Scottish clans dressed in traditional garb marching with bagpipes through the historic town of Alexandria.
The Campagna Center
The Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend and Parade is the largest fundraising activity for The Campagna Center, a non-profit organization that helps children in need. The Center focuses on early childhood education and started several programs that include the Early Head Start, Alexandria Head Start, Campagna Early Learning Center, Afternoon Adventures and the Summer Safari.
